Don’t mind the random head in the background. Off to work in an hour! Just moved in about a week ago, we painted our place over the weekend and went grocery shopping. Other than that, everyone has been working. I don’t see Rachael because she works during the day, and I get off a couple of hours after David gets off. My hours aren’t that different from the days I worked at Cashman so far, but it will change within three weeks. I will post up pictures of the new place soon and perhaps we’ll get some real blogging done. On a side news, Rachael and I decided to team up together to do some design work so if anyone ever needs stuff done, please feel free to contact us :) we are hopefully meeting with our first potential client tomorrow. Oh! David has an interview as well, so soon he’ll be able to quit Dickies and move onto better prospects! It just feels nice living with another artist, decorating the place is going to be fun.

guesswhatgaiz? My hair is getting longer and winter is coming :D man, I don’t know what I’m doing right now… procrastinating from sleep. I’m so tired, I should be napping. I think I’ma nap for a bit.

My First Mani-Pedi.

So Rachael came over earlier in the week to spend the night and do some scrapbooking. We took lots of silly webcam pictures on her laptop and I met one of her newest friends who recently got married to a mutual acquaintance of ours. We had a girls’ day out with mani-pedis and sushi afterward, along with scrapbooking.

The food was good, Rachael enjoyed how it was served. She thinks the macaroni at Ohana Hawaiian BBQ is better, I think they have different tastes. I like them both though. I had tempura shrimp: the shrimp was good, sauce was sweet, lettuce was dry, rice was perfect. I’ve had malasadas before when I was a kid and never really liked it, but these were delicious. They served 10 for $4.

We went to a place in Henderson called Best Nails for our mani-pedis.

It was $38 for both.

The two colours in the middle are the ones I chose, they are all OPI.

It was dark by the time we were finished, so I didn’t take any photos then. I only got my hands. I don’t remember the names of the colours but the ones on my hands turned out to have a pink tint, while the ones on my toes are bronze.

It was a nice experience. My favourite part is dipping your hands in the wax.

Afterwards, we went to eat at Yummy Grill Sushi.

We ordered edamane, gyoza, Japanese lasagna, philly salmon, and Megan had some vegetarian sushi since she has allergies.

Then we went to her place to watch scary stuff and scrapbook.

On a quiet night… it is me, Matilde, Raisa and David, hanging out and doing our own things. We all have some form of electronic lol. That’s Matilde asleep in the back. David’s on his laptop, and Raisa is on the computer. Yup. We watched Om Shanti Om tonight. The movie was good, the plot was sort of unexpected for me. Raisa wanted to watch it after seeing how young and… toned Shah Rukh Khan was in the Dard-e-disco song. So apologies, but I am going to spam the dash a bit with some of my favourite men.
